Super cute box handbag from the 1950s. The bag is pleated at the top and stitched in the corners. This gives the bag a very nice square shape. At the top is a flap lid and it closes with a kissing clasp. The inside is lined with black and there used to be a mirror on the inside of the lid, but it has disappeared and has left some damage to the lining.
16 cm wide, 17 cm front to back, 9 cm high. Strap length 37 cm. Made of plastic.
The bag is in good condition. The metal is weathered but you can probably get that nicely with some polishing. No cracks or significant damage. The two protective covers that are on the handle are supposed to cover the studs but have come loose. This is a vintage item.
