1940s/50s Claudia Young Cotton Velvet Dress and Bolero | S/M

Vintage 1940s/50s dress and bolero ensemble by Claudia Young. A strapless dress with spaghetti straps and boning in the cups. The bodice is tightly fitted, the skirt straight, with a slit at the back, and beautifully embroidered with cord and decorated with set rhinestones. Two wide pockets, metal back zipper. The bolero jacket has a short sleeve with pointed turn-ups. It has shoulder pads, bust and dart seams. There is also a matching belt, which has not been worn often. I also think the set looks better without it.

• Bust 94 cm
• Waist 73 cm
• Hip 94 cm
• Top length, measured over the bust, without strap 34 cm
• Skirt length 68 cm

Bolero measurements:
• Bust 38 cm
• Back, shoulder to shoulder 39,5 cm
• Shoulder 14,5 cm
• Sleeve 22 cm
• Length 38 cm

In good condition with signs of age. The velvet has become lighter but is still in good condition. There is a color difference between the bolero and the dress. The belt is also a different color and has probably never been worn. The bolero collar is a bit dirty.
