1940s wool gabardine jacket with newly made matching skirt. The jacket is labeled Vinson's Long Beach (the store where it was once sold) and Imported Cohama Fabric. It has a shawl collar, 3 covered buttons and large shoulder pads. Very fitted and flaps on the front that look like a pocket but are more like a peplum. Lined with rayon. The skirt is six-lane and has a metal zipper and button on the side.
So the jacket and skirt do not originally belong together. The color is not 100% the same but the difference is negligible. The fabric of the skirt is somewhat smoother.
